Seventeen artists, six choirs and nine ministry guests will feature at the Windhoek event, which aims to raise funds for shoes for underprivileged children.
Gospel music and charitable giving will take centre stage at Restoration Concert 4.0,
to be held at the Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek on Saturday, 31 October 2026.
The annual event will bring together 17 artists, six choirs and nine ministry guests
for a programme combining gospel performances, worship, sermons and ministry sessions, with proceeds benefiting underprivileged children across Namibia by providing new shoes.
Organised by Project Never Walk Alone, founded by Tim Ekandjo, the concert aims to harness the unifying power of gospel music to support children in need and to provide a platform for local and international performers to share their music and faith with audiences. The ministry programme will feature Pastor Udochi Nwagbosso, Pastor Christoffer Chipeio, Pastor Sidney Boois, Pastor Stacey Susa-Pinto, Lady Diana Kimbuku, Apostle Jennifer Moetie, Pastor Clive Willemse, Pastor Winana and Bishop (Dr) Henry Ndozi-Okia.
Nangula Mbako-Shishanda and Ivan Shishanda will serve as the event’s masters of ceremonies, guiding audiences through the evening’s performances and ministry sessions.
The musical programme will feature Namibian gospel artists Dee’A, Lisa, Jael MK, Minister Moses and Esme Songbird, among others. They will share the stage with internationally recognised gospel performers, including South African gospel minister Benjamin Dube, Nigerian singer Minister GUC and Zimbabwean gospel musician Minister Michael Mahendere.
The inclusion of six choirs is expected to add a strong choral element to the programme, complementing individual performances and collective worship. Beyond the entertainment, the concert’s central objective is to mobilise resources for children who lack access to essential items, including suitable footwear. Through the initiative, Project
Never Walk Alone aims to translate the gathering’s message of faith and compassion into
practical support for vulnerable communities.
The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) recently announced a sponsorship contribution of
N$250 000 towards the event, providing additional support for the initiative.
Nangula Mbako-Shishanda, spokesperson for Project Never Walk Alone, expressed gratitude to the NTB for its contribution, saying the funding would help cover essential costs associated with staging the concert.
“This cash injection will help us cover critical expenses. This year’s concert will have a total budget of N$3.2 million. The production, stage and sound will be bigger and better, and we are aiming to attract more than 20 000 people, double last year’s attendance,” Mbako-Shishanda said. Restoration Concert 4.0 forms part of Project Never Walk Alone’s efforts to connect public events with social responsibility, using the reach of music and ministry to draw attention to the needs of underprivileged children. Tickets are available via web tickets and all Model retail stores countrywide. -newsroom@nepc.com.na
