The meeting focused on extending regulatory reforms and strengthening federal-regional coordination to improve the ease of doing business. The Chief Minister was briefed that 557 regulatory reforms have been endorsed so far, with the potential to generate annual savings of Rs 460 billion for businesses.
These reforms are aimed at simplifying regulatory requirements, reducing the cost of compliance and easing procedural burdens that affect business operations.
Under the Prime Minister’s directions, SIFC is facilitating coordinated efforts to advance regulatory simplification and promote a business environment that supports entrepreneurship, investment and sustainable economic growth.
Engagement with regional stakeholders is an important part of extending these reforms and improving their reach.
