The All Progressives Congress (APC) has nominated Hon Segun Tomori popularly known as SET as a member of its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) scheduled for inauguration at the Presidential Villa later this week.
In a statement by Tade Collins, his media aide/personal assistant on Tuesday morning, his nomination further underscores his longstanding commitment to the APC and his continued engagement in the party’s mobilisation and electoral efforts.
Tomori, who played active roles in the 2019 and 2023 presidential campaigns, would serve in the support groups mobilisation directorate where he is expected to work alongside other party leaders to galvanise support groups and strengthen grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
An aspirant for the House of Representatives seat to represent Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II, Hon Tomori brings considerable campaign experiences to bear in the assignment.
He served in the Field Operations Directorate of the 2019 APC PCC and played a similar role in 2023 as team lead, strategic communications directorate of the PCC.
Until recently, he served as special assistant on media to the minister of solid minerals development, Dele Alake.
He is currently the founder/principal partner of Autumnhill Services and chairman of the Abosede Tomori Foundation (ATF) through which he contributes to community development and humanitarian interventions.
