Lahore police have seized a Land Cruiser linked to YouTuber Rajab Butt after discovering an allegedly fake and non-standard number plate. Officers took action on Wednesday as part of an ongoing crackdown on vehicles displaying illegal registration plates.
According to police, Sundar Police intercepted the vehicle near the National Fertilizer Corporation Bridge in Lahore. The driver, identified as Musa Khan, reportedly failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for the suspicious plate. Police subsequently impounded the vehicle and registered a case over the alleged violation.

Authorities are now pursuing further legal proceedings to establish the vehicle’s ownership and investigate the use of the non-standard registration plate. However, officials have not indicated that Rajab Butt was driving the vehicle when police stopped it.
Meanwhile, Lahore Police have intensified their campaign against fake and unauthorised number plates across the city. Deputy Inspector General of Operations Faisal Kamran said authorities had registered 1,508 cases during the crackdown so far. He stressed that the law applies equally to everyone, regardless of their status or influence.
