Manchester United star Amad Diallo lashed out in the wake of his side’s damaging Champions League defeat against Atletico Madrid.
Needing a positive result to steady the ship after a wretched start to the new domestic campaign, Michael Carrick’s side got off to the worst possible start last night, conceding inside the first minute.
To their credit, United rallied thereafter and missed several chances to level the match before the controversial sending-off of Leny Yoro effectively sealed their fate.
Indeed, the home side made their numerical advantage count almost instantly with Ademola Lookman sweeping home the decisive goal with 11 minutes remaining.

The post match discourse was dominated by Lisandro Martinez’s criticism of the club’s board and their lack of action in the summer transfer window, but Diallo appeared to reserve his ire for the match officials who sanctioned Yoro’s dismissal.
‘F*****g disgrace I have no words’, the Ivory Coast international posted on Snapchat.
Carrick, meanwhile, was altogether more diplomatic in his response to Yoro’s red card, saying: ‘I just don’t see it as being a red card, I don’t agree with the decision.’
There was no doubt who Martinez was fuming at during his post-match diatribe and comments that are likely to dominate the narrative ahead of Sunday’s game against Leeds United at Elland Road.
‘Really poor (performance), really poor,’ the fuming Argentina international told Prime Video.
‘I have to control myself a lot but sometimes it’s a reflection of the mirror of how is our club at the moment.
‘We did a fantastic season last season and now we expect more from the top, from up, to be more players to compete because many, many teams bring many players as well.
Did Leny Yoro deserve to see red?

‘Atletico have an amazing team and they deserved to win today.’
Asked whether he is saying that United do not possess a Champions League quality squad, Martinez said: ‘I expect more, honestly. I expect more (investment).
‘Yeah, 100 per cent. I expect more from our technical director.
‘We have to be honest and also as players we have to do more, but it is also important when you make a strong squad to be ready for this kind of night.’
