Ravens Get Positive News on Zay Flowers After Injury Report Addition

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers was added to the team injury report on Thursday with a toe issue, notching limited participation in practice.

Fortunately for the Ravens, Flowers was able to return to the field for another practice session on Friday — a good sign for his likelihood to play in Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the division-rival Cleveland Browns.

Flowers previously dealt with hamstring injury issues, causing him to miss the Ravens' lone loss of the year against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2. When on the field he's been excellent, reeling in 26 catches for 405 yards and two touchdowns.

While Flowers looks good to go to play on Sunday, quarterback Lamar Jackson looks as though he could miss his second straight game with an ankle injury. Jackson was not spotted at practice on Friday, marking his third consecutive absence.

With backup quarterback Tyler Huntley at the helm in Week 5, Flowers reeled in eight catches for 53 yards in a "Sunday Night Football" win over the Atlanta Falcons.

The 4-1 Ravens will kick off against the Browns at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
