The Big Ten released its first availability report of the week leading into the massive showdown between Ohio State and Indiana, and there are some serious concerns for the Buckeyes.
Ohio State will be without starting offensive lineman Austin Siereveld, who will miss his second straight game. The veteran offensive lineman has 26 starts in his career and was a Second-Team All-Big Ten selection last season.
Behind Siereveld is a shocking development as running back Ja'Kobi Jackson will miss this weekend's game as well. There had been no real indication that Jackson was dealing with an injury coming into this week. He has been the most efficient runner for the Buckeyes this year, and in the last four games. He's averaging 6.0 yards per carry on the season while running for 354 yards and six touchdowns.
Indiana comes into Saturday's matchup ranked as the No. 7 rushing defense, giving up just 75 yards a game, and is No. 4 in yards per carry, allowing opponents just 2.3 yards a touch.
Isaiah West, Ohio State's third-string running back, is listed as questionable. Could we see more of Legend Bey?
Ja'Kobi Jackson came up limping a little bit after his final carry against Maryland, but stayed in the game to block on Bo Jackson's touchdown. You can see him limping off the field in the background of the TV broadcast after Bo scores. https://t.co/2zVJg844MUpic.twitter.com/guntaxlLUn
