Following a road victory against the Brooklyn Nets, the Charlotte Hornets host the Atlanta Hawks Friday, looking to earn their first victory against a Southeast Division opponent. However, they'll have to do so without two of their starters, as Coby White and Kon Knueppel remain sidelined with calf and hamstring injuries. Grant Williams and two-way player Kylan Boswell will miss Friday's contest as well.
In their absence, the Hornets will look to Brandon Miller to shoulder the scoring burden, along with Grayson Allen, who led the team with 21 points in his team debut Wednesday. As for the Hawks, they'll rely heavily on Jalen Johnson, a first-time All-Star last season.
