Celebrity Traitors star Romesh Ranganathan hints at secret 'feud' as fans spot 'clues' after he admitted one player didn't like his 'general vibe'

Celebrity Traitors star Romesh Ranganathan has hinted he was involved in a 'feud' with one of his fellow players, with fans uncovering clues to uncover their identity.

The comedian, 48, has been appearing in the iconic castle alongside big names such as Richard E. Grant, Michael Sheen and Jerry Hall.

While things seemed harmonious between this year's stars when they weren't throwing accusations at the roundtable, Romesh has hinted that things weren't completely harmonious.

In a recent episode of his podcast, Wolf and Owl, the Weakest Link host told pal Tom Davies that there was one star who didn't like his 'general vibe'.

Romesh didn't name the star he was referring to, but did say: 'Sometimes people just don't like you and that's okay.'

After his comments were shared in a Reddit thread, users began to speculate which celebrity he could be referring to.

Several users noted that James Blunt, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Miranda Hart and Richard E. Grant are the only cast members who Romesh doesn't follow on Instagram.

One user commented: 'In fairness, James Blunt barely follows anyone but Romesh follows everyone in the cast except 4 people: James B, Julie, Miranda and Richard.'

Another wrote: 'Romesh not following Julie seems weird, especially as they are both part of The Weakest Link cast too, obviously not really doing anything together as Julie records her stuff later in a studio, but still.'

Names that fans were quick to rule out were Michael Sheen, Bella Ramsey and James Acaster, as they don't have active Instagram accounts.

One user also commented: 'What about Richard E.Grant like I don't think they ever really talked.'

Romesh had previously shared fears that not all of his fellow celebrities would warm to him during his time in the castle.

He went on to say on his podcast: 'I think to myself, ''I love you and the idea that they wouldn't like you feels really weird to me''.

'But the truth is that there are some people whose personality just rubs people up the wrong way.

'So sometimes you have to accept that, however you are, it's not for someone else.

'I think in life we are all guilty of going, ''I just don't get it. I've been so nice to that person''. But they just don't vibe with you.'

Romesh narrowly avoided falling victim to a face-to-face murder during Thursday's episode, with close pal Rob Beckett instead becoming the latest star to be killed.

As Rob's death was revealed during breakfast the next morning, Romesh said: 'It's sad but you've got to look at the positive of these things, Rob's not here.'

He told the camera: 'I made a joke but the truth is I feel like I let Rob Beckett down because he is so unthreatening he was never going to get banished so he is the guy we should have given the key to and he is also one of my best friends. I'm sad, it's not going to be the same without him.'
