Michigan State football had a breakout offensive performance, in spite of a loss to Illinois, and a part of the offensive success came the first signs of success for Ferris State transfer Carson Gulker.
Gulker, a native of Zeeland (MI), is spending his last year of college football with the Spartans. He has not had the start of the season that he wanted, but made an impact on Saturday evening. Gulker completed a pass for 19 yards, while also adding two carries for seven yards in a special package within the offense.
On Tuesday, Gulker spoke to the media for the first time, where he talked about the performance he had, and previewing what could be ahead when the team welcomes in Northwestern.
