Richard Duvall has been appointed CEO of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeland (Fla.), a 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital.
Mr. Duvall brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience spanning acute care, assisted living and skilled nursing settings, according to an Oct. 21 hospital news release.
He has experience overseeing strategy, operations and governance across health systems, as well as aligning physician strategy with service line performance.
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeland opened to patients in 2022. The hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries and complex neurological conditions.
