A Mumbai Police team departed Kota for Mumbai by car on Tuesday, carrying three individuals allegedly involved in the firing incident targeting actor Tiger Shroff.
Subhash Chandra Mishra, Additional SP of Kota city, explained that the team halted in Kota overnight to avoid traveling after dark. "They were tired also due to the journey from Mumbai to Kota, so it was not safe for them to travel in the night," he stated, adding, "The Mumbai police team has now left for Mumbai with the accused by road."
Ramswaroop, SHO of the Railway Colony Police Station where the suspects were held, noted that strict surveillance was maintained overnight. "Since the incident is very serious, security is being maintained as per the usual procedure. I was here throughout the night. The CCTV cameras are directly connected to the police headquarters," he reported.
Local police apprehended the three suspects in a general compartment of the Pune–Jaipur Superfast Express at Kota Railway Station on Monday morning. Two of the detainees were identified as Ritik (alias Roshan) from Begusarai, Bihar, and Rehan from Sonipat, Haryana; the third is a juvenile.

Following their handover by Kota city police, Mumbai Police formally arrested the suspects and presented them before a magistrate, obtaining transit remand to transport them to Mumbai.
Police investigations indicate that Rehan had been communicating with Anil Pandit, a suspected associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The gang later claimed responsibility for the attack in an unverified social media post.
The shooting occurred on Sunday evening in Mumbai's Juhu locality, where at least two men opened fire on Shroff's vehicle before fleeing on a motorcycle. Five to six rounds were fired at the vehicle; the actor escaped mostly uninjured, but his driver and a nearby bystander sustained injuries.
Investigators recovered the motorcycle believed to have been used by the shooters abandoned in Andheri. The suspects had escaped to Surat before boarding a Jaipur-bound train, planning to proceed to Delhi by bus and eventually escape to Nepal.
Mumbai Police have registered a case citing charges of attempted murder along with relevant sections of the Arms Act.
