Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Two Uzbek citizens sustained minor injuries in an attack on Terminal 3 of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on 10 October, Uzbekistan Foreign Ministry spokesperson Omanulla Fayziyev said.
The injured individuals, born in 1977 and 1997, received initial medical treatment before being taken to Diriyah Hospital. Both were discharged after examinations and the necessary medical procedures.
According to preliminary information, around 20 other Uzbek citizens who were at the airport during the incident were unharmed.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Riyadh, together with the relevant Saudi Arabian authorities, continues to monitor the situation, maintain contact with Uzbek citizens and provide the necessary consular assistance, Fayziyev said.
