Wednesday is expected to be cloudy with some sunny spells and a risk of rain. The forecast for Thursday and Friday is reasonable enough, and with highs still above average (23 to 24C) by a few degrees. On Sunday and Monday there were highs of 29C and on Tuesday 28C. On Saturday, as things stand, a system is due to move in and bring rain, high winds and a fall in temperature which will be most apparent on Sunday and Monday - down to 18-19C.
We'll see how this forecast develops. The weather alerts on Monday resulted in very little rain; four litres per square metre in Santa Maria was the heaviest rainfall. These things, as we know, can be a bit hit and miss.
