Woongjin Preed Life is expanding its business beyond funeral services into broader life care offerings, targeting single-person households and the senior market.
The company said on the 15th that it held the Woongjin Preed Vision Forum 2027 on the 14th at Bottega Maggio in Seoul's Seongdong District, where it shared its business strategy for next year. A total of 320 people attended, including sales staff from across the country and company employees.
Moon Ho-sang, chief executive of Woongjin Preed Life, presented the growth strategy under the theme "Growth Never Stops: Challenge, Innovate, Leap Forward." The CEO stressed a shift to what the company calls "Funeral Services 3.0," covering customers' entire lives rather than funerals alone. To that end, the CEO called for an aggressive response to the rise in single-person households and the expanding senior market.
Yoon Seok-keum, chairman of Woongjin Group, also gave a special lecture on leadership that drives change in sales. "Growth is possible only when leaders first show a positive attitude," the chairman said. "A positive mindset is the starting point of leadership and the driving force behind greater growth."
Woongjin Preed Life operates a sales network made up of 50 business units nationwide and about 7,200 life partners, or LPs. Centered on funeral services, it has been broadening its offerings into areas such as weddings and cruises, and it also runs Shilnakwon, a directly operated funeral home.
An official at Woongjin Preed Life said the company will "strengthen customer-focused services and on-the-ground competitiveness to grow into a total life care platform."
