The 6-0 and No. 2 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish travel west this week to take on the No. 8 ranked BYU Cougars in what has been called the biggest home game ever for the Cougars.
It’s kind of funny how there are so many people calling out Notre Dame for this game — “finally they have a tough game,” and yet the Irish are still a double-digit favorite over BYU. The Irish have won 16 straight games by double-digits, and if they get another in this game, they would tie Miami for the record from the last 30 years in college football.

This is definitley going to be a fun environment for the Irish to play in on Saturday night. BYU is very well coached and their fans are hungry for a big game like this, but at the end of the night, it’s hard to see how BYU keeps up with the Irish over the course of 60 minutes. But… that’s why they play the game.
