Cardiff Devils suffered their first defeat of the Elite League season as Dundee Stars claimed a 3-2 overtime victory in the visitors' first away game of the campaign.
Riley Brandt and Josh MacDonald put Devils two goals ahead inside the opening six minutes.
But Dundee hit back through Travis Ewanyk and Zack Hoffman to level the score by the end of the first period.
Neither side could find a winner in regulation time, with Rasmus Nousiainen settling the contest in overtime to secure victory for Stars.
Nousiainen was played in by Tyson Laventure and he slotted past Ben Bowns to give the Stars the extra point.
