The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, will hold a thanksgiving service on Sunday, October 25, in honour of its late Spiritual Father and Chairman, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo, who died at the age of 93.
The service, scheduled to take place at the church’s Kingsland District Headquarters, Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos State, will mark the conclusion of a week-long programme of funeral rites, tributes and other activities organised in honour of the late cleric.
The church’s burial programme, published on its official website, shows that the activities commenced on Monday, October 19, with a lying-in-state and an interdenominational service of songs at the Blue Roof, Lagos Television premises, Ikeja.
The programme also featured a day of tributes organised in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Organisation of African Instituted Churches (OAIC) and New Seraph, alongside other services organised by different branches of the Cherubim and Seraphim movement.
A wake-keep service was held on Thursday, October 22, at Seraphim Land, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Maba, Ogun State, while the funeral service and interment were scheduled for Friday, October 23.
Alogbo was a prominent figure in the Cherubim and Seraphim movement. He was installed as the sixth Spiritual Father of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide on May 1, 2024, and later ordained as the fifth Supreme Head (Olori) of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria on September 20, 2025.
