In years gone by, Black Friday has become all but synonymous with discounted electronics, gadgets, and tech – but that’s not all. More luxury fashion retailers take part than you can imagine.
And, with my near-decade of fashion commerce experience, I’m extremely well-placed to shout out the best spots for some early Black Friday deals. Let’s get into it.
When is Black Friday 2026?
Kicking off with an easy Q&A – Black Friday always takes place on the last Friday of November, the day after American Thanksgiving. Somewhat problematic holidays to one side, though, regardless of your stance on American festivities, we Brits can certainly get behind a bargain or two, and the entirety of that week (23 -29 November) is chock full of them.
What were last year’s best Black Friday fashion deals?
Picture the scene: November 2025, I’ve been writing for fourteen straight days, on the edge of insanity, but dedicated to deal-hunting. It’s that version of myself (unwashed, bedhead, the same joggers three days in a row) that I flash back to as I think about all of last year’s very best deals.
My 2025 heroes of Black Friday were primarily the 70 per cent off at Reiss, 50 per cent off at Ssense, and a further 50 per cent off at Dr Marten, Missoma, Arket and Liberty. Yeah, it’s a big deal.

A stalwart of the British shopping scene, Selfridges is about as iconic as it can get. Last year saw Selfridges slice prices by up to 40 per cent – although the luxe retailer never labels its sale as an overtly ‘Black Friday’-related sale, preferring to call it something a little more seasonal. But you can’t fool me – I know a Black Friday sale when I see one.
My pick of what’s available in Selfridges’ sale right now goes to AllSaints’ cropped leather jacket and these shining Sif Jakobs earrings.

Net-A-Porter is, quite simply, the Google of the fashion world. With an insane amount of stock (roughly 3000 new products every day, FYI), any type of sale stocked at Net-A-Porter deserves a thorough perusal – let alone a Black Friday-based offering.
For now, my pick of the Net-A-Porter sale goes to this delicious suede Nour Hammour jacket and a sleek brown leather Aquazzura Sellier boots.

My love/obsession for MyTheresa is well-documented by now, and for good reason. The retailer that stocks every brand under the sun (and a few more), MyTheresa has a piece for every occasion. In 2025, MT’s offering was huge, running a sitewide promotion offering up to 50 per cent off designer items.
My pick of MyTheresa’s current sale selection goes to this Our Legacy men’s denim jacket and, as always, a rich, saturated Acne Studios scarf.

Ssense is the multi-brand fashion retailer for the edgier dresser. Stocked to the brim with the likes of Rick Owens and Vivienne Westwood, a vote at Ssense can hardly go wrong.
