The public has been warned ‘not to approach’ a patient who has absconded from a secure unit in Glasgow.
Daniel Boyle, a restricted patient who absconded from the Roughmussel area, was last heard from on Thursday.
The 52-year-old is described as being 6ft tall, of heavy build, with brown eyes and grey/white balding hair.
Mr Boyle has scars on the left and right side of his face, on his right arm, and a large scar on his right palm.
His clothing at the time he was last seen is not known.
A spokesperson said: “Police are keen to trace this patient as soon as possible.
“The public are advised not to approach this individual and if anyone sees him, or has any information regarding his whereabouts, they should contact Police Scotland quoting incident number 2174 of 7 October 2026 on 101.”
