- EIP and the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) expand their collaboration to connect EIP's global network with Singapore's energy transition and decarbonisation ecosystem
- Partnership supports Singapore's Decarbonisation Grand Challenge by creating pathways for promising companies to develop and scale from Singapore
New York & Singapore--(ANTARA/Business Wire)--Energy Impact Partners (EIP), a global energy investor, and the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) today announced they are deepening their partnership to help advance energy innovation and decarbonisation in Singapore. The announcement was made at the inaugural Singapore Industry Decarbonisation Forum 2026, hosted by EDB, the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), and the Advanced Energy and Decarbonisation Office (AEDO).
Singapore’s research base, industrial infrastructure, and connectivity across Asia complement EIP’s global reach across energy and industrial companies, as well as the technology startups they work with. Together, these strengths support the full innovation journey, from research and development, test-bedding, and scale-up to commercial deployment.
EIP will connect promising companies to Singapore’s innovation landscape and open channels for technical exchange and strategic collaboration between the local research and industry ecosystem. The two organizations will also deepen ties between their networks and explore pathways to commercialize and scale innovative technologies.
“Our partnership with EDB reflects the ambition of Singapore’s approach to the energy transition, and we are glad to deepen our collaboration,” said Anil Achyuta, Partner, Frontier Investments at Energy Impact Partners. “By connecting EDB’s ecosystem with our global network, we can help promising energy startup companies find a path to scale here and beyond.”
“As energy and decarbonisation technologies continue to evolve, partnerships with global investors like EIP help Singapore gain insights into emerging technologies and industry needs. We are pleased to build on our partnership with EIP to tap its extensive network of companies to connect promising technology companies with Singapore’s research and industry ecosystem. This is to develop and scale solutions that address our decarbonisation needs.” said Mr. Wey-Len Lim, Executive Vice President, Singapore Economic Development Board.
