Personnel from the General Traffic Department have arrested a motorist in the Saad Al-Abdullah area for reckless driving and causing damage to state property. The arrest came following a complaint received by the Ministry of Interior’s traffic complaints service.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the Security Control Department after receiving a video clip on its designated WhatsApp number 99324092 and acted immediately and took the suspect into custody and impounded his vehicle.
The ministry said the necessary legal measures had been taken against the suspect. The driver was referred to the Central Prison, while the vehicle was impounded and destroyed.
