The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised Greek citizens to avoid travelling to Saudi Arabia unless absolutely necessary, citing the evolving situation across the wider Middle East.
In a statement on Sunday, the ministry said it was taking into account both the latest developments in the region and the restrictions imposed on air traffic in Saudi Arabian airspace.
It also urged Greek citizens already in the country to stay in contact with their airline, monitor updates from official sources and follow the instructions of local authorities.
