President Donald Trump is bringing another familiar face from the boxing world into his election campaign, with Floyd Mayweather Jr.reportedly preparing to accompany the president to Arizona on Wednesday.
The undefeated former boxing world champion is expected to board Air Force One in Las Vegas before traveling to Bullhead City, where Trump is holding a rally to support Republican candidates ahead of the November 3 midterm elections.

According to the Daily Mail, Mayweather, 49, will attend the event, although it remains uncertain whether he will address supporters or simply join the president as a guest.
The planned appearance comes amid a series of campaign events featuring well-known athletes, demonstrating how frequently sporting personalities have become part of Trump's public appearances.
Mayweather's association with Trump predates the president's current campaign schedule, with the former boxer having attended his first inauguration in January 2017.
The five-division world champion has remained publicly supportive of Trump, expressing particular admiration for his business background during a February 2025 appearance on Fox Business.
Speaking on Making Money with Charles Payne, Mayweather delivered an enthusiastic assessment of the president's record.
"When we had Trump before, we didn't appreciate him. But I think Trump is a great president, one of the, actually he's the best president," Mayweather said. "In my eyes, he's the best president we ever had."
Mayweather also praised Trump's experience in business, an area where the former fighter has developed his own extensive interests since retiring from professional boxing.
"Great business, great businessman, and that's what it's about," Mayweather added during the interview.
His comments attracted attention beyond political circles, including criticism from rapper 50 Cent, with whom Mayweather has maintained a longstanding public feud.
Mike Tyson and Jake Paul in Trump's recent rallies
Mayweather would follow another former heavyweight boxing champion, Mike Tyson, who accompanied Trump on a recent trip to Syracuse, New York.
During that appearance, the president spotted Tyson among the audience and invited him onto the stage to speak.
"Thank you, thank you very much. I'm just happy to be up here with my president, President Trump," Tyson told supporters.
"There's no way in the world I would ever be here if it wasn't for a president like Donald Trump."
The president has also appeared alongside former NBA star Dennis Rodman, retired NFL coach Jon Gruden and boxer-turned-social media personality Jake Paul.
Baseball legend Roger Clemens attended another event in San Antonio, where Trump announced his intention to award the former pitcher the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Why Arizona is important stop for Trump campaign
The Bullhead City rally forms part of a broader campaign effort to support Republican candidates before voters head to the polls next month.
Trump is visiting Arizona to back Andy Biggs, who is challenging Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs in the state's gubernatorial election.
The president is also scheduled to campaign in Montana, continuing a series of appearances across western states as both parties compete for support ahead of the midterms.
Mayweather's connection to Arizona extends beyond politics through his business interests, giving the former boxer an additional link to Wednesday's destination.
His planned appearance adds another chapter to a relationship that has lasted nearly a decade, although whether he will take the microphone remains to be seen.
