The footage shows Wanjuhi arriving at an outdoor site in high spirits, warmly greeting the people gathered there before taking a walk around to say hello to the men assembled for what appeared to be a construction project.
A backhoe is visible in the background, suggesting active groundwork underway at the site.
In the caption accompanying the post, Oxygenn Kenya urged followers to rally behind the commander, writing.
Wanjuhi cut a striking figure at the site, dressed in a full camouflage uniform consisting of a matching green-and-brown jacket and trousers layered over a solid olive-green top, finished with a camouflage cap.
A loosely draped brown knitted scarf hung around her neck, and her bright pink nail polish added a personal touch to the otherwise official look.
She greeted those present with an open, cheerful expression, clearly at ease among the crowd.
The video drew a wave of comments from Kenyans who were visibly impressed by the senior officer's demeanour and dedication.
Levi Nyaendo Onyanyo II called her
"One of the best female senior police officers."
Grace Karagi offered a more reflective take:
"Service to humanity is service to God. Keep up the good work."
Simon Njagi offered solidarity, writing:
"We are behind her."
Not everyone kept it strictly professional. Raphael Cush quipped:
"Is she married? Asking for a friend."
Ñi Ôkwonkwõ kept it playful with:
"I want her to arrest me."
How do Kenya Police maternity uniforms look like?
In other news, Kenya introduced a redesigned police uniform, unveiled by President William Ruto at the National Police Service Training College in Kiganjo.
The updated outfit restores a combination of sky blue and dark blue, replacing the all-blue design adopted in 2018.
However, maternity uniforms for expectant officers attracted the most attention and sparked online reactions.
