Like many New Yorkers, I’m always looking for new shoes. Living in a walking city means burning through shoes faster than you can believe and always needing new pairs that are comfortable for an active lifestyle. That’s why, instead of heels and dress shoes, you see everyone in NYC wearing some riff on comfortable sneakers. Brooks, Hoka, New Balance, and yes, Skechers.
Skechers isn’t the flashiest brand, but its shoes prioritize comfort and reasonable prices across a slew of categories: running, walking, hiking, home, and work, to name a few. In the 90s, it aligned with utility boots and grunge fashion, but it quickly grew to focus on casual, comfortable, and athletic shoes for basically everyone. Today, you’ll see some of Skechers' most prominent shoe lines, including “Cozy Fit”, “Slip-ins”, and “Wide Fit”.
Like most brands, it also offers a few Skechers coupons, promo codes, and online offers that can help you save a few bucks at checkout. Below are some of the best Skechers coupons and promo codes you should know about before checking out.
Unlock 20% Off With This Skechers Coupon Code
One of the most common online discounts you can get at any online retailer is available if you sign up for email updates at Skechers.com, where you can get up to 20% off your next purchase. This means you’ll receive marketing emails from Skechers (though you can always unsubscribe later). As usual, some items may be excluded from this Skechers coupon code.
Skechers Online Discount: Claim Your $5 Off
New Skechers Plus Members get $5 off their first purchase. The free membership includes many other perks, most importantly free standard shipping and returns—no Skechers promo code required. In addition, you get an extended 90-day return window (up from 45 days for non-members), points on every purchase (which can add up to further discounts), exclusive offers, and birthday rewards.
Step Up Your Savings During the Skechers Sale
Skechers discounts are easy to find if you shop the Skechers sale section—no Skechers promo code necessary. I recommend doing this for any shoe brand, not just Skechers. At the time of writing, there are over 900 items on sale, including many apparel and footwear items at over 50 percent off.
Smart Savings: 10% Off Skechers Student Discount
Looking for more student discounts? Add Skechers to your list. Verify your student status through Skechers’ community discount program. Use ID.me on Skechers’ site to verify your status. After verification, you’ll receive a Skechers student promo code that saves you 10 percent at checkout. Offer excludes select items and gift cards.
10% Off Skechers for Everyday Heroes
It’s not just students who can get 10 percent off at checkout. Teachers, first responders, health care professionals, and military personnel are also eligible for Skechers’ community discount program. As noted above, you must verify your status with ID.me on Skechers’ site. After verification, you’ll receive a Skechers military discount, Skechers health care discount, or Skechers education discount code at checkout. The offer excludes select items and gift cards.
