Calling all the coolest Gen Zs in the chat: A brand-new music fest in Dubai called ‘Dopa World’ just dropped
Are you a Gen Z who loves a good Arabic R&B, hip-hop and trap music? We know we do. Dopa World is debuting a first of its kind music festival in Dubai from December 18 to 19 in Jubilee Park, Expo City. And it will feature global sensations like Saint Levant, Ziad Zaza and Shehab. With line-up this stacked, we already know the setlist is going to be hits on hits on hits.
What’s Dopa World all about?
If you’re already excited about line-up then wait till you hear all about the what else is in store for you at the fest. Dopa World music festival isn’t just a celebration of Arab music and their contribution to modern day contemporary songs, but rather also a celebration of fashion, culture, food and ‘new wave’ of Arab artistic expression and weaves the gap between sub-genres like Arabic trap, hip-hop, indie, and regional streetwear culture.
Unlike your traditional stage setting, the Jubilee Park is transformed into a space of miniature cultural village which feature food and streetwear and local brands stalls from across the Arabic world.
A major highlight for fashion enthusiasts looking forward to attend is the curation of 50 independant brands that are flying in from creative hubs like Cairo and Ramallah. So, you’re in for a world of hyper-localized graphic clothing, independent streetwear drops, art books, and lifestyle merchandise from regional designers that are hard to get a hold of. Not to mention, many of these brands and launching an exclusive, limited-edition products specifically for the Dopa World music fest.

Instead of your usual basic fast-food trucks, the organizers of the event are curating a lineup of pure homegrown Middle Eastern talent.
