The Macedonian-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce marked its 15th anniversary in Skopje under the motto “Business Without Borders. Growth Through Shared Success.” Since 2011, the chamber has served as a platform for connecting the business communities of the two countries by creating opportunities for new business contacts, partnerships, trade and long-term economic cooperation, the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reported. Today, the chamber has more than 80 members.
According to data from Bulgaria’s Ministry of Economy, annual trade between the two countries has increased over the past 15 years, rising from approximately EUR 712 million in 2011 to EUR 1.317 billion in 2025.
The event was attended by EU Ambassador to North Macedonia Michalis Rokas, diplomats based in Skopje, North Macedonia’s Deputy Minister of Economy, business leaders and other guests.
