During a two night appearance at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles as part of the Super Graphic Spectacular, Chappell Roan performed wearing a series of characteristically bold outfits right down to her footwear. On Thursday night, the “Pink Pony Club” singer took to the stage in a vibrant layered ensemble complete with a shimmering pair of champagne-colored Jimmy Choo Vanessa pumps.
Over her years of stardom, Roan has often compared her look to that of a drag queen, so it’s no surprise her outfits for the event were suitably theatrical. One of Roan’s most notable ensembles for the Super Graphic Spectacular was a mossy green duster robe embroidered with an abstract foliage motif. She slung the robe over a lingerie-like pink babydoll dress with a lace-trimmed bodice sporting nature-inspired embroidery. The bodice’s light golden shade provided subtle hues to perfectly pair with Roan’s shoes.
She wore a pair of Jimmy Choos Vanessa pumps in a champagne shade. The shoes featured a stiletto heel with lace-up detailing around the ankle and glimmered slightly with a dramatic metallic finish that elevated the entire look. Roan also wore her Jimmy Choos with a burlesque-inspired outfit complete with a two-piece mini-dress with gold embellishments and a flowy dusty pink robe.
Roan is well-known for her statement-making styles, including her footwear. Recently, she wore a striped latex ensemble complete with shiny black pumps for a National PrEP Day event at The Abbey in West Hollywood. While Roan may love her heels, they’re not the only shoes she is known to wear. In a 2024 appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” Roan performed in knee-high cowboy boots with a light pink gingham design matching her latex bodysuit.
The Super Graphic Spectacular celebrates the first anniversary of Roan’s Midwest Princess Project. The non-profit organization supports LGBTQ+ and transgender youth across the country. In its first year alone, the organization has supported over 60 organizations and raised over $800,000 in funds. Roan performed alongside pop stars such as Lola Young and Tinashe to applaud Midwest Princess Project’s success.
