BUSAN — SNT Energy (100840) is showcasing its power generation equipment technology and local manufacturing capabilities in Saudi Arabia at the Middle East's largest energy exhibition, accelerating its push to expand in the regional market.
SNT Energy is taking part in the 25th World Petroleum Congress (WPC Energy Congress 2026), held from the 12th through the 15th at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center in Saudi Arabia, SNT Group said on the 13th. SNT Gulf, the company's Saudi subsidiary, is participating as an industry sponsor.
At its booth, the company is presenting detailed scale models and promotional videos of key power generation equipment, including heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), air coolers and surface condensers, while discussing networking and business cooperation with global energy companies.
SNT Energy has pursued a localization strategy in the Middle East for years. SNT Gulf expanded its production facilities in 2023 and 2025 to strengthen local manufacturing. In May last year, it signed an agreement on local production of heat recovery steam generators with the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority under Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Energy, becoming the first in the industry to have its localization capabilities recognized. The company was later added to the Saudi government's Mandatory Product List.
Those localization gains are expected to generate significant synergy with surging electricity demand in Saudi Arabia. Power demand has jumped as the kingdom's artificial intelligence and data center industries grow rapidly, prompting a large-scale buildout of power infrastructure including combined-cycle gas turbine plants. SNT Energy plans to concentrate on winning new power generation projects, drawing on its HRSG technology and its established production base in Saudi Arabia.
"Through this event, we will introduce our HRSG technology and our Saudi manufacturing capabilities to global energy companies," an SNT Energy official said. "We will continue to actively expand business opportunities in the Middle East power equipment market based on our local production system."
