He and Vasti, formerly Vasti Spiller, exchanged vows at a wedding ceremony held in Paarl, Western Cape, on Saturday, 10 October 2026, marking the start of a new chapter for one of the country's most celebrated fighters and his equally impressive partner.

How Dricus and Vasti's love story began
The couple's journey to the altar started at CIT Boxing in Pretoria back in 2023, where both were connected to the sport that would bring them together. Vasti made the relationship public in July of that year, and the romance clearly deepened quickly. On 14 January 2025, his 31st birthday, Dricus got down on one knee and proposed to her in Pretoria.
In July this year, Vasti shared a heartfelt tribute to her now-husband alongside photos from what appeared to be a Cape Town shoot.
"3 years and I still love you in a way that would worry a therapist and thrill a poet," she wrote. Dricus responded in the comments with "love of my life!! ❤️"

Far from simply being known as a fighter's wife, Vasti has carved out her own identity across several creative and professional fields. She is a photographer who runs her own business, Baruch Photography, describing herself as a "visual and literal" storyteller. She completed her studies at North-West University and fulfilled her photography internship before establishing her brand.
Beyond the lens, Vasti is also a published children's book author. Her book, *The Art of Loving*, was written with young children in mind, specifically those navigating trauma and difficult experiences. She is additionally a boxing coach at CIT Boxing, the very gym where she and Dricus first met.
Vasti reportedly entered the Miss SA 2022 pageant, though she did not progress past the initial stages. That chapter clearly did not define her trajectory, as she has since built a multi-faceted career on her own terms.
