By Zoila Palma: Today, Prime Minister John Briceño and Minister of Economic Transformation Dr. Osmond Martinez participated in the Small States Forum in Thailand, as part of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Annual Meetings.
The Forum serves as a vital platform for small nations like Belize to champion greater access to development financing, strengthen climate resilience, advance economic transformation and promote sustainable growth.
“Belize remains committed to amplifying its voice internationally, building strategic partnerships and unlocking opportunities that pave the way for a stronger, more resilient, and prosperous nation,” the Ministry noted.
