The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has created a new Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management and adjusted the leadership of its youth and women mobilisation directorates ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Hope Uzodimma, Imo State Governor and Secretary of the Campaign Council, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, saying the changes were aimed at strengthening the council’s organisational structure, coordination and operational efficiency.
Under the new arrangement, Hon. Farouk Adamu Aliyu was appointed Director of the Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management, with Hon. Adejare Bello as Co-Director.
Ayo Olawande was named Director of Youth Mobilisation, while Dayo Israel was appointed Deputy Director.
Similarly, Mary Aille Idele was appointed Director of Women Mobilisation, with Betta Edu as Deputy Director and Imaan Suleman as Secretary.
Governor Uzodimma said the adjustments reflected the Council’s commitment to building “a well-coordinated, inclusive and results-driven campaign structure” capable of mobilising Nigerians, particularly young people and women, for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
He said the appointees were expected to deploy their experience and organisational capabilities to their respective assignments as preparations for the 2027 election intensified.
The Council also urged the appointees to collaborate with other directorates and campaign structures to ensure effective implementation of its mobilisation and campaign strategies.
