Jets fans will be keeping their eyes on NFL Draft positioning all through the 2026 season. There is a good reason for that. The team owns three first round picks in the 2027 NFL Draft, its own, Indianapolis’, and the higher of Dallas’ and Green Bay’s first round selections.
Thus far the season has produced a 2-4 record, but things are more positive looking to the Draft. If the season ended today, the Jets would have three selections in the top thirteen.
The current order via Tankathon:
- Chargers 0-6
- Dolphins 0-5
- Titans 1-5
- Buccaneers 1-5
- Commanders 1-4-1
- Jets (from Cowboys) 2-4
- Eagles 2-4
- Texans 2-4
- Jets (from Colts) 2-4
- Cardinals 2-4
- Browns (from Rams) 2-4
- Saints 2-4
- Jets 2-4
- Falcons 2-4
- Raiders 3-3
- Seahawks 3-3
- Bengals 3-2
- Ravens 4-2
Picks 19 through 32 are determined by the results of the Playoffs.
Obviously there is a long way to go, and there is a large logjam of teams with a 2-4 record. We know the Jets will have an excess amount of Draft capital this offseason. The question is how high those picks will end up. Through six weeks, they are looking like potentially high selections.
