The Ring Outdoor Cam 4K Pro is Ring’s newest premium outdoor camera, and it’s built for people who want the sharpest view Ring currently offers. There’s also a solid deal on it right now, which makes this a good time to take a closer look.
This camera centers on 4K video with HDR, giving it a clear step up from Ring’s older 1080p models. Ring also says it offers Retinal 4K, up to 10x enhanced zoom, and AI-enhanced imaging to help make activity around a yard, driveway, or entry area easier to review. Night performance is another big part of the package, with low-light and night vision features designed to keep more detail visible after dark.
It’s also aimed at buyers who want a more serious outdoor setup. The Ring Outdoor Cam 4K Pro appears to be designed for wired use rather than battery power, and Ring notes that you’ll want about 15 Mbps for full 4K performance. Installation options are flexible too, including standard mounting and a PoE variant or base for a more stable hardwired setup. In short, this is the high-end Ring outdoor camera for people who care most about image quality and support for the Ring ecosystem.
On Amazon, the Ring Outdoor Cam 4K Pro is down to $139.99 from its $199.99 RRP. That’s a 30% discount off the recommended retail price, saving you $60. It’s not quite the lowest price we’ve seen, but it’s only $10 above its all-time low. It also carries a 4.4-star Amazon rating, which adds to the appeal if you’ve been waiting for the right moment to buy.
