Disney+ has upped its prices yet again, making it the third time in three years.
For those who have been Standard Subscribers since its launch in 2020, the cost of the service has increased by 100% (£5.99 to £11.99 today).
No reason has been given by the entertainment empire, just a notification to users that all three payment tiers have gone up in cost.
However, there is a small silver lining as Disney has also introduced a new Saver Plan aimed at new subscribers. For the first six months you can save up to £4 a month on subscription, before paying the higher price.
It's unknown whether this Saver Plan will be a permanent fixture, but for now, here's everything we know.

What are the new Disney+ UK prices?
Disney+ has increased the price of all three of its subscription tiers. The Standard with Ads plan has risen from £5.99 to £6.99, the Standard from £9.99 to £11.99, and the Premium from £14.99 to £15.99.
The cost of the annual plans have also gone up: £119.90 for the Standard Annual and £159.90 for the Premium Annual.
However, there is also the six-month Saver Plan to consider.
What is Disney+ 6-month Saver Plan?
Disney+ has now permanently introduced a Saver Plan which reduces the price of your subscription for the first six months.
So, for the Standard with Ads plan, you'll pay £5.99 for the first six months before it increases to £6.99.
The saver applies to the other tiers too, with the Standard Plan starting from £9.99 and the Premium from £11.99. Granted, these discounts are only how much the service used to cost, but a saving is a saving.
After the six months are up, your subscription will automatically renew at the higher cost.

What's the best way to save on Disney+ now in the UK?
If you're new to Disney+, I'd definitely suggest going with the Saver Plan, we don't know how long it will last so you might as well take advantage of the cheapest price while it's here.
Otherwise, the best way to save on Disney+ is to pay annually or to bundle it in with other services. Take the Standard Plan, if you pay £11.99 a month your total cost over the year will be £143.88, but with the Annual sum you're paying £119.90 – saving just under £24.
Or, I'd recommend looking at Sky's Ultimate TV package. For £24 a month, you can get Disney+, Hayu, Netflix, HBO Max and all of Sky's channels, so it's a proper saving and offers you the most TV.
