Some much-needed wide receiver help is on the way for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as the team is reportedly set to reunite with a familiar face who knows Aaron Rodgers all too well.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, sources indicate that the Steelers are expected to sign veteran wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to their practice squad. Valdes-Scantling reunited with Rodgers in 2025 and appears to be ready for another 2026 stint with Pittsburgh.

Valdes-Scantling began his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers (2018-2021) before also having short stints with the Kansas City Chiefs (2022-2023), Buffalo Bills (2024), New Orleans Saints (2024), San Francisco 49ers (2025), Steelers (2025), and Los Angeles Chargers (2026).
During his 2025 season with the Steelers, Valdes-Scantling appeared in five games and made one start, recording 10 receptions for 80 yards and one touchdown.
When signed to Pittsburgh's practice squad, Valdes-Scantling will also reunite with head coach Mike McCarthy for the first time since their days together on the Green Bay Packers.
