Onyema Evelyn, a Nigerian fashion and clothing influencer and CEO of 44 Clothing Brand, has reportedly been missing for the last two days.
Harrison Gwamnishu, a Nigerian activist known for helping rescue kidnap victims, said Evelyn was last seen at Bonny Camp in Lagos State with her boyfriend, Derrick.
Gwamnishu posted on Instagram, asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact her family or the authorities.
He shared her photo and wrote: “CEO 44 was last seen in distress around Bonny Camp, Lagos, with her boyfriend Derrick. Her phone has now been found. For those asking about tracing her phone lines, please note that her phones have already been recovered. If you live or work near Bonny Camp, please check the following areas.”
In response to Gwamnishu’s post, Nigerian producer Stanley Ontop shared a photo of a corpse found in a river near Bonny Camp, Lagos, saying someone had just sent it to him. The identity of the deceased has not been confirmed. He wrote, “Let’s pray it’s not her.
“I hope what I’m hearing about 44 Clothing isn’t true. But if it turns out to be, Nigerians should hold her boyfriend, Derrick, responsible because he has been threatening her.”
Stanley Ontop also said that Harrison Gwamnishu is heading to Bonny Camp, Lagos, to follow up on the case.
