PasaHero is expanding its presence across Metro Manila through new route deployments and partnerships with jeepney transport cooperatives, bringing its rewards platform closer to students, workers, and daily commuters.
The company’s recent expansion includes two ribbon-cutting milestones in Manila’s University Belt and Makati City, marking another step in its efforts to make everyday jeepney rides more rewarding while creating additional earning opportunities for participating drivers.
In Manila’s University Belt, PasaHero marked its deployment across 96 jeepney units operating along two routes: Morayta-Gastambide to Divisoria, and Balic-Balic to Quiapo (Barbosa) via Lepanto.
The deployment was made possible through its partnership with FEJODAP Corp., with the support of President Marlon Dela Cruz and Chairman Rita Agbu.
With these routes serving areas frequented by students, employees, and other passengers, the deployment introduces more commuters to PasaHero’s QR-based rewards experience as part of their regular trips.
This month, PasaHero also marked its deployment along the Bel-Air to Washington route, covering 68 jeepney units in partnership with the Makati City Unified Transport Service Cooperative.
The milestone was supported by Local President Raddy Galang and Secretary Henry, whose cooperation helped bring PasaHero to another established jeepney route in the city.
Beyond the ribbon-cutting ceremonies, these partnerships highlight the role of transport cooperatives in PasaHero’s expansion. By working with existing transport cooperatives, PasaHero can introduce its platform along established routes without requiring passengers to change their usual travel routines.
PasaHero is a digital commuter economy platform in Metro Manila that transforms daily jeepney trips into an interactive, value-generating ecosystem for passengers, drivers, and advertisers. Commuters earn HeroPoints by scanning QR codes on participating routes, redeeming them via the app for rewards and discounts from partner brands such as McDonald’s, Pickup Coffee, Angel’s Pizza, and Human Nature.
In turn, participating drivers earn supplemental income to help cushion the impact of rising fuel costs, while brand partners gain a direct consumer touchpoint through in-app ads, sampling, and on-ground activations.
The platform currently reaches 700,000 daily commuters across 60 routes, operating with 2,000 jeepney units in partnership with eight transport cooperatives to serve over 15,000 registered users. PasaHero plans to scale its reach to 300 routes and 10,000 jeepneys through partnerships with 40 transport cooperatives, with a target of reaching 75,000 registered users and 3.5 million daily commuters.
