Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has scored in 10 consecutive UEFA Champions League matches, moving within one game of Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of 11 successive scoring appearances in the competition.
The England captain scored from the penalty spot against Arsenal on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, during Matchday Three of the 2026/27 Champions League league phase.
Kane’s goal gave Bayern the lead at the Allianz Arena before Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice scored an equaliser for the visiting side.
According to UEFA, Kane is now the second player to score in 10 consecutive Champions League matches, behind Ronaldo, who holds the record with an 11-game streak for Real Madrid during the 2017/18 campaign.
Before reaching the milestone, Kane had been level with former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy and Poland international Robert Lewandowski, who each scored in nine consecutive matches.
Lewandowski achieved the feat twice while playing for Bayern, during the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons.
Ronaldo’s record run began when he scored twice in Real Madrid’s 4-1 victory over Juventus in the 2017 Champions League final.
The Portuguese forward subsequently scored in all six group-stage matches of the 2017/18 campaign before finding the net in both legs of Real Madrid’s round-of-16 tie against Paris Saint-Germain and their quarter-final encounter with Juventus.
