NEET PG Counselling 2026: Round 1 NRI List Announced; Check Cancellation, Reporting Updates

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the list of candidates found eligible to fill NRI choices in Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2026. This list includes candidates who successfully submitted documents to convert their category from Indian to NRI for admission to postgraduate medical seats. The document is available on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in, allowing applicants to verify their eligibility without signing in to their individual candidate accounts.

The MCC also clarified that the published list is provisional, and candidates must present all original documents, including proof of NRI status and relationship certificates, at the time of reporting to the allotted college. Failure to produce the required documents may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

The updated list features the roll numbers and names of provisionally converted NRI candidates, based on the scrutiny of documents submitted to MCC. These candidates will be considered under the NRI category only upon successful verification of the original documents during reporting.

The publication of the NRI eligibility list follows the completion of the choice-filling and choice-locking stages for the first round of NEET PG counselling. Candidates whose supporting documents have successfully passed the scrutiny process are now eligible to compete for seats available under the NRI quota at participating Central Universities and deemed medical institutions across India, subject to the applicable admission rules and seat availability. However, inclusion in the eligibility list does not guarantee admission, as final seat allotment will depend on the prescribed counselling criteria, candidates' merit positions and the preferences they have submitted.

The MCC is scheduled to announce the Round 1 seat allotment result for NEET PG counselling 2026 on October 24, 2026.
