Popular actor Khairul Basar has been romantically linked to several actresses, including Sadia Ayman, Tanjin Tisha and Sadnima Binte Noman.
On a recent podcast, he addressed the rumour, clarified his relationships with his co-stars and explained why marriage is not on his mind just yet.
When the host asked why he had broken up with Tanjin Tisha, Basar challenged the question.
“When was I ever in a relationship with her? You can only break up if you were together in the first place!” he said.
He added that he and Tisha used to talk and still keep in touch. Although she can be a little eccentric and quick-tempered, he said, she is a genuinely good person.
Asked why he is so often linked to his female co-stars, Basar replied, “I work with actresses all day. So, if rumors are going to start, who else would they be about? It’s not like people see me with anyone else.”
He dismissed the rumour linking him to several actresses but admitted that he finds them amusing.
“None of those rumors are true. But I enjoy them,” he said.
Basar also denied being romantically involved with Sadnima Binte Noman, describing her as a wonderful co-star who always speaks her mind.
The actor also made it clear that marriage is not on his agenda for now. He said he still has plenty of work to do and family responsibilities to take care of before considering settling down.
“I feel like I still have a lot of work to do. I have some family responsibilities to take care of, too. I want to get those things out of the way first. Maybe then I’ll start thinking about marriage,” he said.
