Victor Wembanyama and several Spurs teammates traded the basketball court for roller coasters and Halloween scares Sunday. But the 7-foot-4 superstar kept his feet on the ground.
Wembanyama joined Julian Champagnie, Stephon Castle, Dylan Harper, Tobias Harris and other Spurs for an outing at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, where they took in the theme park's annual Fright Fest celebration just two days before the team's regular-season opener.
The sight of Wembanyama in a magenta hoodie, trailed by his teammates, elicited screams of delight from onlookers and cries of, "It's Wemby!"
Fright Fest transforms Six Flags into a Halloween-themed attraction featuring haunted houses, scare zones, costumed characters and thrill rides.

While his teammates enjoyed the festivities, Wembanyama kept his distance from the rides and roller coasters.

"I didn't do any rides," Wembanyama said at the Spurs' Monday shootaround. "I can't do it safely."
Asked whether anything in his NBA contract prevented him from climbing aboard a roller coaster, Wembanyama said no.
"I'd rather not do it at all," he joked.
The outing allowed San Antonio's youthful roster to spend time together away from the court ahead of another highly anticipated NBA season.
The Spurs open their regular season at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Frost Bank Center.
