UK economy grows – but only by 0.1 per cent

The economy managed to keep growing in August, despite the pressure of rising energy prices.

Output expanded by 0.1 per cent – better than some economists had expected.

And there’s evidence that artificial intelligence may be boosting growth.

So is the economy finally improving?
