Dylan Larkin requested a trade from the Detroit Red Wings during the offseason, but he still remains with the Original Six club as November gets closer.
A major reason why Larkin has not been moved yet is that he has only been willing to accept a trade to three teams: the Florida Panthers, Minnesota Wild, and Vegas Golden Knights. Yet, Larkin has now given the Red Wings more options to work with.

According to the Detroit Free Press' Helene St. James, Larkin has expanded his trade list to 10 teams. The former Red Wings captain is now willing to accept a trade to the Dallas Stars, Washington Capitals, Carolina Hurricanes, Utah Mammoth, Tampa Bay Lightning, New Jersey Devils, and Colorado Avalanche. The 12-year NHL veteran is also still interested in being traded to the Panthers, Wild, and Golden Knights.
Seeing Larkin expand his trade list is not too difficult to understand. It has been multiple months since Larkin requested a trade, and he did not give Detroit many options to work with. Yet, now that he has expanded his trade list, it should help the Red Wings find him a new home more quickly.
It will be interesting to see where Larkin ends up being traded to. It would not be surprising if his trade market heats up now that he has given the Red Wings more potential teams to make a deal with.
