New England Patriots QB Drake Maye completed 24 of his 31 passes for 321 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception versus the Chicago Bears in Week 7. Maye also ran four times for 26 yards and a score.
Why It Matters: This was one of those nights where Maye's numbers were arguably better than his actual play. That was exemplified by getting 66 yards and a score on a two-play drive before halftime where a swing pass to Rhamondre Stevenson ruptured into a 48-yard touchdown on the final play of the first half. It wasn't a full step backwards for Maye, either, as he was elusive in the pocket and sold out to score on a seven-yard run. Still, he had a critical interception in the end zone, and he had two chances to drive his team for the go-ahead scored and managed one first down combined. From a fantasy perspective, it was another quality effort from Maye, who was reestablished himself as a midrange QB1 following a disastrous start to 2026.
