A tanker has reportedly caught fire beneath Otedola Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, prompting an emergency response from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA).
The agency confirmed the incident on Monday through its spokesperson, Olawale Afolabi.
According to Afolabi, LASEMA received a distress call about the fire at approximately 4:24 p.m. and immediately deployed its Tiger response team to the scene.
In a brief update, the spokesperson said the response team was heading to Otedola Bridge following reports of the burning tanker.

Further details about the incident, including the cause of the fire, the extent of the damage and whether anyone was injured, were not immediately available at the time of filing this report.
