Josh Brolin has opened up about how he's maintained his sobriety for over a decade.
The Oscar-nominated actor, 58, currently attends an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting 'every morning at 6am on Zoom' to stay sober.
Speaking to the Telegraph, Brolin said that quitting drinking was the only way that he could turn his life around.
'I woke up on the sidewalk outside my house, yet again, and it felt like a fork in the road. Which way was I going to go for the rest of my life?' he reflected.
Brolin was arrested for public intoxication on New Year's Day 2013 during a wild night out in Santa Monica, Los Angeles.
He was discovered by police on a sidewalk and was held at a local station until he sobered up.

Brolin entered rehab shortly after and then joined Alcoholics Anonymous.
'I love being sober,' he told the Telegraph, before adding, 'I'm having way more fun now than I ever did drinking, and I never end up in jail, which is a real bonus.'
He's now incredibly focused on his health, with regular trips to the gym and a diet that excludes bread, sugar, and pasta when preparing for blockbuster roles.
The actor, who first shot to fame as a teenager in 1986's The Goonies, was able to get his career back on track after getting sober.
In 2015, he starred in Denis Villeneuve's Sicario, followed by roles in the blockbuster Everest, Avengers: Infinity War, Deadpool 2, and last year's Weapons.
Brolin is currently one of the leads in the Dune franchise, which will release its third instalment in December.
He can currently be seen in the survival thriller Whalefall with Austin Abrams.
While Brolin has had plenty of major roles throughout his career, there is one movie he regrets doing.

Speaking to reporter Josh Horowitz in an interview last year, Brolin blasted his 2010 DC Comics blockbuster, Jonah Hex.
The star-studded flick featured huge names like Michael Fassbender, Megan Fox, and John Malkovich, but was savaged by critics and bombed at the box office.
'I brought in a lot of people,' Brolin explained. 'I brought in Malkovich, I brought in Megan, I brought in Michael Shannon who was totally cut out. I brought in Fassbender.'
He added, 'So you have this silver platter of actors and the movie doesn't necessarily turn out as good.'
Brolin then clarified that the director's cut of Jonah Hex was 'pretty good,' but that it was the studio who butchered it during post-production.
The actor also said that it's 'not fun' doing the press tour for a film when it 'sucks.'
Brolin, who has four children, married his third wife Kathryn Boyd in 2016.
