Washington Commanders defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw has been ruled out of Monday night's contest against the San Francisco 49ers with a knee injury.
The former 2020 first-round pick hobbled off the field late in the second quarter and was ruled out at the start of the third quarter. Kinlaw was injured on 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey’s second rushing touchdown of the evening – and the final play of the half for the Commanders’ defense. He limped to the sideline with help from Washington’s team trainers but couldn’t continue in the second half.

Kinlaw recorded two solo tackles before exiting, bringing his season total to eight solo tackles and one sack.
Kinlaw was a former 49ers’ first-round pick, spent four years in San Francisco, and one year with the New York Jets before signing a three-year deal with the Commanders in 2025.
