Tallie, widely known online as Mama Ella and identified as celebrity radio presenter Oga Obinna's fourth baby mama, has opened up about the financial hardships she is facing as a single mother, breaking down in tears during an emotional TikTok livestream on October 23, 2026.
In the candid session, Tallie revealed that she studied journalism and mass communication but has been unable to secure stable employment, citing how saturated the industry has become for graduates without established connections or their own media channels.
She said she has spent her days sending out CVs and intends to keep at it, while also reaching out to brands for potential content creation partnerships.
Rather than asking for direct handouts, Tallie said what she truly needs is support to get a small business off the ground, one she can run from home, so she can provide for her daughter Ella without depending on anyone.
"I don't stand to benefit anything that is meant for my child," she said, adding that she never wants to find herself with nothing to fall back on should circumstances change.
The mother also spoke about the toll online bullying has taken on her, saying strangers have looked down on her appearance, her hair, and even her nose, pushing her to a very dark place emotionally.
She urged viewers not to project their own unhappiness onto others.
When viewers began contributing financially during the live session, Tallie was visibly moved and broke down in gratitude, thanking those who showed up for her.
She mentioned that she would like to go back to selling pyjamas and asked for assistance so she can rely on herself and be able to do some things for her daughter.
